What You'll Do
As a Pre-Primary Phonics & Reading Teacher, you will nurture young learners through engaging phonics and early literacy lessons. You will help them build strong foundations in reading, language, and communication while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Working closely with parents and the academic team, you will monitor each child's progress, provide regular feedback, and contribute to delivering a high-quality learning experience that prepares children for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive phonics and reading lessons for children ages 3 to 6 years old (Nursery to K2).
- Conduct engaging and interactive Pre-Primary Phonics and Reading lessons that build students’ language skills and confidence.
- Create a fun, nurturing and positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Prepare and deliver lessons effectively based on curriculum and teaching materials provided.
- Monitor and track students’ learning progress, providing guidance and support to meet their individual learning needs.
- Provide regular feedback to parents on students’ progress and areas for improvement.
- Inspire students to develop strong literacy foundations and a love for learning.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure effective lesson delivery and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on effective teaching methodologies.
About You
- Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
