What You'll Do
As a Speech & Drama Coach at Master Speakers Academy, you play an important role in nurturing students’ confidence, communication abilities and stage presence. You will deliver engaging public speaking and drama lessons, guide students in developing effective communication skills, and inspire them to express their ideas with clarity and confidence. Through structured programmes and interactive learning activities, you will help students build essential speaking and presentation skills while fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lesson Preparation and Programme Delivery
- Review lesson plans and teaching materials to prepare for effective and engaging lesson delivery.
- Conduct public speaking and speech & drama lessons in an interactive and encouraging manner.
- Use creative teaching strategies and activities to help students develop confidence, articulation and stage presence.
- Ensure lessons are delivered according to the academy’s curriculum and teaching standards.
- Provide constructive guidance and support to help students improve their communication and performance skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable participating and performing.
Professional Development and Collaboration
- Work closely with the academic and programme development teams to ensure effective lesson delivery.
- Contribute ideas to enhance teaching approaches and improve student learning experiences.
Ad-hoc Duties
- Assist with academy events, workshops, showcases or trial classes when required.
